Raika is our interpretation of the beautiful barter relationship between the nomadic Raika's who would provide the wool & the Vankars who would weave the wool into shawls for them. The earthy palette of rust and grey weaves in a symmetrical formation portrays the balance of the give and take between the communities. Made with yarn that is hand spun by the women of rural Kachchh and woven by master artisans on a traditional Bhujodi pit loom.
